Aisling Mahoney
Beginner Instructor
Aisling has been riding at various barns throughout her childhood. She started when she was three years old as her babysitter owned two horses and a small farm. From there her passion for animals and the spark of riding was born. As she grew older, she found herself at many different barns, the love of riding was always there but none of the barns stuck or truly felt like home. That was until she found herself outside of Serendipity Stables. Aisling was sixteen years old and began to apprentice under Dausha’s instruction. Dausha built upon the foundation that already existed but under her instruction Aisling began to flourish not only as a rider but found herself falling in love with the art of teaching. When she was twenty years old she passed the state instructors exam and has been teaching on her own for the past three years. She specializes with the beginners and tries to make each lesson a little different as every child is different. Her goal is to ensure the child feels comfortable not only on the back of the horse but also on the ground. Aisling remembers starting out in her riding career and the magic and joy horses brought to her childhood and even into her young adult years. Aisling’s goal is to ensure every rider develops confidence within themselves as they learn the art of riding and finding the joy and passion they bring into our lives. Aisling will teach any beginner rider and bring out the freedom and joy that horses bring into our world.
